Raw Kefir - 1 Pint - for cats and dogs
Everything in this Raw Kefir process is done to human consumption standards but since the government makes no provision for Raw Kefir, by law, we are forced to label it as pet food.
Raw Kefir will continue to ferment slowly in the refrigerator. It becomes more tart and may develop a hint of zip but it really doesn't go bad. If it's left set in the refrigerator for several days, it may begin to separate and build pressure. This is totally normal. Just shake it slightly before using. Or, if you want, pour off some of the whey before you shake it. If you do this, the Kefir will be less tart and thicker.
It's Full of gut healthy bacteria and yeasts!
Serving suggestion: Use a food processor or blender to puree your choice of fruit. Then blend the pureed fruit with the kefir. If you want more sweetness add a bit of maple syrup or other sweetner to suit your taste buds.
