The name Meadowrella was thoughtfully chosen by the cheesemaker who crafts this cheese in a licensed creamery. Because raw milk mozzarella can’t legally be called “mozzarella” under current regulations, the cheesemaker picked a name that reflects the natural, meadow-fed origins of the milk.
